“I forgive those who have harmed me in the past and peacefully detach from them!”

Action Item:
Take a moment to speak the affirmation aloud and meditate on it throughout the day.
There are many times in life when we hold grudges or our hearts are hardened and we are unable to forgive someone who has did any harm against us. Are there people in your life that you still have not forgiven? Write them a letter or send them a text that says “I forgive you for….”, and let peace begin to move upon your heart. If you want to explain why they hurt you then do that as well. Do whatever it will take (non-violently) to tell this person the harm they have caused you and then forgive them. Let’s start today moving in a direction of forgiveness.
“Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”(Ephesians 31-32 NIV)
